About KEEPTM
KEEPTM – The Kilimanjaro Entrepreneurship Experience Program is an intensive entrepreneurial immersion Global Entrepreneurship Training (GETTM) ACTIVEclassTM compliant Program designed to develop the entrepreneurial skills, expertise, experience, and know-how (SEEKTM) for the next generation of Entrepreneurs setting up and building their Businesses in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) economy (FIRETM).
KEEPTM is ACTIVEclassTM complaint whereby the instructional delivery approach on all the constituent programs of KEEPTM are designed to facilitate, support, and empower the active engagement of the Learners/Participants in the process of developing and acquiring their Program-specific entrepreneurial SEEKTM
KEEPTM is an NPQTM (No Paper Qualification) Program that focuses on providing Participants with need-to-have entrepreneurial SEEKTM laying emphasis on the ACTIVEclassTM Learning-by-Involvement (LbI) and Knowing-by-Doing (KbD) process.
KEEPTM is modeled as a MountaincampTM Program based on the mountaineering concept that simulates the intensity of the experience of mountaineers driven by the determination to trek and climb to the mountain’s peak.
KEEPTM An Encapsulation of the Mountaineering Experience
KEEPTM encapsulates and equates the entrepreneurial spirit and endeavor of the Entrepreneur to that of the mountaineering experience of the Mountaineer. It envisions the entrepreneurial journey and experience of the Entrepreneur from Business Startup to building and growing the Business as similar to that of the mountaineering experience of trekking to the summit of a tall mountain by the Mountaineer. Participants on the KEEPTM Program are therefore inspired and encouraged to embrace the mountaineering spirit and determination that inspires Mountaineers to climb to the summit of tall and difficult-to-climb mountains of the world.
Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa’s highest mountain and the tallest free-standing peak in the world, is used on the KEEPTM Program to demonstrate how the entrepreneurial spirit, experience and journey of an Entrepreneur from Business Startup to Growing and Expanding their Business into a fully operational and successful business can be likened to the mountaineering spirit and experience of an intrepid and enterprising Mountaineer climbing one of the tallest mountains in the world. It is repeatedly quoted that less than 50% of climbers make it to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The KEEPTM Program therefore simulates the mountaineering experience and determination to reach the peak of a mountain as tall as Kilimanjaro. The premise is that becoming an Entrepreneur and being successful at it can be likened to the experience of a Mountaineer overcoming the difficulties, obstacles, and challenges of the climb to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and aspire to the beyond-the-Kilimanjaro EDA – ‘Everest’ Dream and Aspiration.
The KEEPTM Tracks
The KEEPTM intensive entrepreneurship experience journey is based on two tracks, the Founding, Your Business track, which comprises two constituent Programs, and the Building Your Business track, which comprises one constituent Program. KEEPTM Participants determine and decide on their Program of Entry based on where they are on their entrepreneurial journey.
Each KEEPTM Program is made up of several Modules. The starting Module of each of these KEEPTM Programs is the Business Base Camp Fire-Side Chat Module.
