GMI-102P: Advanced Television Presentation and Hosting is a dynamic Program designed to elevate students’/learners’ abilities in delivering compelling on-camera performances. Through a combination of subject matter discussions, practical exercises, and simulated scenarios, students/learners will delve into the nuances of television presentation, honing their skills in hosting a wide range of television formats.

The Program covers essential topics such as on-camera presence, voice modulation, body language, and improvisation. Students will learn advanced techniques for engaging with audiences, interviewing guests, and leading panel discussions. They will also explore the use of teleprompters and cue cards to deliver flawless performances.

Throughout the Program , students/learners will have the opportunity to apply their skills in real-world scenarios by hosting both live and pre-recorded television shows. They will receive constructive feedback and guidance from experienced industry professionals to refine their presentation style and develop their unique on-camera persona.

To enroll in the GMI-102P: Advanced Television Presentation and Hosting  Program, students/learners must have successfully completed GMI-101: Television Production Operations, Broadcasting Technologies, and Journalism or possess equivalent knowledge and skills. Additionally, the following prerequisites and skills are beneficial for students/learners to derive maximum benefit from the Program :

1. Proficiency in basic camera operations, video editing, directing, scriptwriting, lighting engineering, pre-production and post-production processes, studio operations, MCR operations, TV journalism, and graphics and motion design, as covered in GMI-101.
2. Strong communication skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the production team, conducting in-depth interviews, and delivering compelling news content.
3. Proficiency in storytelling and creativity: Advanced storytelling abilities, creative thinking, and the ability to think critically are essential in advanced television production and journalism. Students should have the skills to create engaging narratives and employ advanced visual storytelling techniques.
4. Advanced knowledge of television and media: A comprehensive understanding of television formats, genres, industry practices, and emerging trends will provide a robust foundation for advanced television production, broadcasting technologies, and journalism.
5. Proficiency in digital technology: Advanced familiarity with digital technology, including advanced cameras, professional video editing software, and online platforms, is crucial for comprehending and applying advanced concepts related to broadcasting technologies and operations.
